From Maths Practice Maths Homework Module BODMAS

Equations with operators between 4 numbers

Instructions: For each equation work out the answer. Make sure that you perform the operations based on the BODMAS processing order.

Hint:

BODMAS is a set of rules that should be used when working out an equation. BODMAS is an abbreviation for the following and tells you what order various parts of the equation should be performed.

B = Brackets

O = Of

D = Division

M = Multiplication

S = Subtraction

Working from left to right, first evaluate all parts that are in 'Brackets' or use 'Of'

The next step is to work out all the 'Division' or 'Multiplication' parts of the equation.

The final sep is to work out all the 'Additions' or 'Subtractions' in the equation.
